GRAPHIC GODDESS
A PAULA SCHER EXHIBIT
As part of a project my senior year, I was tasked with conceptualizing and designing a full-scale art exhibit. Each student selected a designer who inspired them and crafted
a fictional exhibition to showcase their work. I chose a big inspiration of mine: Paula Scher, a graphic designer known
for her bold typographic compositions and iconic branding.

THE CHALLENGE
Designing an exhibit for Paula Scher meant capturing the energy, movement, and scale of her work. The challenge was to create a
cohesive visual identity for the exhibit that:
Embodied her expressive typography and bold use of color
Balanced historical context with a modern, engaging experience
Included a full suite of collateral—posters, tickets, merchandise,
and direct mail pieces
THE FINAL PRODUCT
I developed an exhibit identity that reflected Scher’s signature aesthetic of bold, layered typography and vibrant color contrasts.
